We are thrilled to officially announce the launch of the CSE DIU Alumni Platform — the dedicated online home for all graduates of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Dhaka International University.

This platform was built by alumni, for alumni. Whether you graduated last year or a decade ago, this is your space to reconnect with batchmates, grow professionally, and give back to the next generation of engineers. Here is everything the platform has to offer.

Homepage

When you visit the platform for the first time, you are greeted with a live snapshot of our community — how many alumni have joined, how many batches are represented, which countries our graduates call home, and how many events we have hosted together. From the homepage you can instantly jump into any section of the platform or create your free account and join the network.

Your Account & Security

Sign up with email or log in instantly with your Google account — no lengthy forms
Your account is protected with a secure login system; sessions are managed safely
Forgot your password? A reset link is sent straight to your inbox; it expires automatically after use for your protection
The platform keeps your personal data safe and your account fully under your control

Profile & Personal Dashboard

Your profile is your identity on the platform. Fill it in once and let the community know who you are:

Personal info — display name, profile photo, bio, graduation batch, phone number
Career details — job title, company, industry
Where you are — city and country
Your links — LinkedIn, GitHub, Twitter/X, personal website
Skills — add the technologies and skills you work with
Work experience — add every company and role in your career timeline

Once logged in, your personal dashboard (/my/) is your command centre:

Overview — a welcome screen showing your profile completion status and quick links to everything
Edit Profile — update any of your details at any time
Membership — see your current membership status and your unique member ID
My Invoices — view all your payment history in one place
My Events — see all the events you have registered for
Mentorship — check the status of your mentor or mentee application
My Research — track the research papers you have submitted

Browse a searchable, filterable list of all alumni who have made their profiles public
Filter by graduation batch, industry, country, or search by name or company
Each alumni card shows their photo, batch, current role, company, location, and skills
Click any profile to see their full career timeline, education, achievements, and social links
Verified members display an official Member ID badge on their profile

Membership

Become a lifetime member of the CSE DIU Alumni Association with a single one-time payment.

One-time fee of ৳500 BDT — no yearly renewals, no hidden charges
How it works:
1. Submit your membership application and agree to our community terms
2. Pay ৳500 via bKash and upload your payment screenshot on the platform
3. Our team reviews your application — you will be notified by email every step of the way
4. On approval, you receive a unique Member ID (e.g., CSEDIU-2026-0001) that is yours for life
You can track your application status in real time from your account
If an application is not approved, you will receive a clear reason and guidance on next steps
Approved members get a digital membership card they can share with pride

Prefer to give privately? Anonymous donations are fully supported
See a donor wall on each campaign showing the names and messages of those who have contributed (non-anonymous only)
Campaign organisers post progress updates so you always know how the funds are being put to work

Every donation and membership application generates an invoice you can refer back to at any time

Each month, our treasurer publishes a public audit report showing:
- Opening balance
- Total income received
- Total expenses incurred
- Closing balance
- An optional narrative summary
All published audit reports are accessible to any logged-in member under /accounting/reports
No black boxes — full financial transparency is a founding commitment of this platform
